Bo and Lebo play a captivating mix of rootsy country blues anthems and homespun originals. Longtime friends and accomplished guitarists, they showcase their individual musical gifts in a duet that exudes authenticity, synergy and personality.

Bo Carper creates a unique acoustic music experience, blending rootsy influences like Mississippi John Hurt and Blind Willie McTell with modern instrumentalists Steve Tibbetts and Michael Hedges. Bo’s original songs and his highly stylized covers exude a fresh approach to finger style guitar and banjo.

Known for his musicality, versatility, and heartfelt delivery, Lebo is inherently committed to an improvisational approach. The vehicle for his fluid, buttery sound is a flat top acoustic guitar that he has personally customized and converted to electric with a vintage style humbucker pickup. When not touring or recording with ALO (the band he cofounded at age 13) or Lebo & Friends, he can be seen rocking the stage with Phil Lesh and Friends, Incidental Animals, Rock Collection, Brokedown in Bakersfield, One Big Guitar, Steve Kimock, and a wide array of all-star projects. Appearing simultaneously in more high profile bands than most musicians do in a lifetime, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz is synonymous with the art of collaboration.
